Seok-young (played by Lee Byung-hun) is very popular among women but seeks help from a television station to find his first love, Jung-in (played by Su-ae). This attracts the attention of reporter Soo-jin (played by Lee Se-eun) and producer Yang-suk (played by Yoo Hae-jin), who want to uncover the truth behind the story. The two then begin to investigate Seok-young and Jung-in's past, discovering an unusual love story as the clues accumulate. Originally, Seok-young participated in a university community service program in the countryside in 1969, unfazed by his companions calling him lazy and still being aimless. One day, he meets the orphaned Jung-in, and he falls in love with her at first sight. He is deeply attracted to her strong personality, and Jung-in gradually opens her heart to him.
