This animated short is a paper-cut film adapted from "The Three Wolves" in "Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio," with character and background design by Liu Zedai. Although Old Man Zhang is nearing his seventies, he is still energetic and often busy from dawn till dusk selling pork and mutton. One morning, he carries a basket full of pork to the market and encounters three jackals in the mountains. To escape the jackals, he first throws away pig heads and pig intestines, but after devouring the scraps, the jackals still pursue him relentlessly. Ultimately, after finishing the entire basket of pork, they want to eat Old Man Zhang as well. Realizing he cannot escape, Old Man Zhang begins to outsmart the jackals.
