This animated film is a puppet show. The story of "Mr. Dong Guo" comes from the Ming Dynasty work "The Tale of the Zhongshan Wolf" by Ma Zhongxi, which tells of Mr. Dong Guo saving the Zhongshan wolf, only to be nearly harmed by the wolf in return.
