"Sleeping Hostel" (Taipei Suicide Story) is directed by Wang Kai-min and stars Song Yunhua and Huang Tenghao. After last year's "Burning Secrets," Song Yunhua has a work selected for the Cannes official section for the second consecutive year. The script directly addresses the struggles and helplessness of modern people; although the film presents it lightly, it is actually cruel and realistic.
