This documentary, produced by Elton John and his partner David Furnish, tells the story of British human rights activist Peter Tatchell. For many years, Tatchell has challenged the establishment in the UK through a series of highly controversial civil protests, taking the lead in changing public attitudes towards LGBTQ+ individuals and working to expose dictators around the world. As LGBTQ+ rights have gained more recognition and protection, Tatchell has gradually come to be seen as a hero in Britain. The film features valuable historical footage, an engaging conversation between Tatchell and renowned actor Ian McKellen, as well as interviews with LGBTQ+ rights activist and former director of Stonewall UK Angela Mason, and notable actor Stephen Fry, among others. Additionally, the camera follows Tatchell to Moscow, capturing his protests during the 2018 World Cup aimed at raising awareness of the persecution of sexual minorities by the Russian and Chechen governments.
