On a sunny day, the Straw Hat Pirates are enjoying a leisurely vacation on a beach. However, their ship, the Going Merry, is stolen right under their noses. A week later, they are still drifting aimlessly at sea. Just when they are in a difficult situation, Luffy and his crew encounter two little thieves, Bolode and Akis, who plan to go to Clockwork Island to steal the precious Diamond Clock, which is likely in the possession of the Poker Pirate Crew that has taken over the island. Soon, they encounter the Poker Pirate Crew’s fleet, and in their first encounter, they suffer a defeat, with Nami being captured by the enemy.
