Beauty therapist Wang Baoling (played by Chen Sijia) moves from Macau to Hong Kong and encounters a suave male customer who introduces himself as Shi Zhongjie (played by Si Wei). He seems to have an interest in Baoling and gifts her contact lenses. However, after wearing the lenses, Baoling starts seeing ghosts, becoming increasingly haggard. Shi Zhongjie reveals his true nature, repeatedly luring Baoling, who struggles to break free from his ghostly control but it’s too late. Her boyfriend, who is obsessed with horror novels (played by Lin Weitu), doesn’t believe her. In her desperation, Baoling falls into the role of a ghost servant, tricking her colleagues to supply Shi Zhongjie with victims. After lurking at Shi Zhongjie’s place for one night, her boyfriend finally understands the truth and seeks the help of a Taoist priest to exorcise the ghost. However, Shi Zhongjie proves to be more cunning, using Baoling to kill the priest, and her boyfriend also suffers a tragic fate. Alone and helpless, Baoling retreats to the countryside, but Shi Zhongjie continues to close in...
