In the late Five Dynasties, Shi Zhongyu, who is skilled in disguise, Yuan Bao, who excels in mechanism techniques, Qi Fenghe, who is knowledgeable in witchcraft, and Jian'er, who combines magic and martial arts, form a thief gang known for stealing from the government. The gang cleverly creates supernatural events to hijack silver shipments and investigates the massacre of the Su family, destroying the cult that pretends to be supernatural in order to amass wealth.
