The cooking class of a certain unit in the People's Liberation Army, known for its consistent excellence and solid skills, is well recognized throughout the military. However, whether this reputation matches reality still needs to be tested. One day, Li Shuqin, the head of the Logistics Department's cooking section, arrived at the cooking class. Based on high standards that emphasize difficulty, rigor, and practical combat, Chief Li took the soldiers out for field training and presented three challenges: digging a smoke pit, burning wet firewood and grass, and making a fire without letting light escape. Surprisingly, none of the tasks were completed successfully. Chief Li took this opportunity to point out to the soldiers that culinary skills must meet the requirements of actual combat and cannot simply rest on their laurels and run a "peace hotel." A month later, Chief Li was about to leave and encouraged the soldiers to strive to become an outstanding "frontline cafeteria" as soon as possible. Six months later, Chief Li returned. Would the cooking class members pass the assessment this time?
