The "Killer Brawl" fight competition in the United States is about to commence, with two gangs from the Chicago area aiming for victory, one of which boasts a star fighter — the ruthless killer Li, whose reputation is soaring. Young Ah Long (played by Jackie Chan) runs a restaurant in Chicago with his family. When his father is extorted by the gang, Ah Long drives away the bad guys but ends up being scolded by his father, who is unhappy that Ah Long is learning martial arts from his uncle instead of focusing on a proper career like his older brother, who is a doctor. As Ah Long teaches the thugs a lesson, he catches the attention of Peng, the heir of the gang, who wants Ah Long to compete in the Killer Brawl. Peng's gang then beats up Ah Long's friend and kidnaps his fiancée to force him into fighting against the ruthless killer. After failing to rescue her with his uncle, Ah Long must train hard and represent Peng's group in the competition. Ah Long wins match after match, but just when he faces the ruthless killer in the ultimate final, Peng betrays him...
