This work depicts the interaction between Ichiro Haga, a researcher of shunga who illustrated human sexual intercourse and reached his peak during the Edo period, and his disciple, Yumiko Haruno. One day, while working at a café, Yumiko encounters Haga, known as "Shunga Sensei," who openly gazes at shunga without concern for others. Captivated by Haga as he suddenly begins to explain what shunga is, Yumiko starts taking shunga classes at his home. The story unfolds with the bond of "shunga love" between the master and disciple, involving the editor of Haga's comprehensive shunga work and the sister of Haga's deceased wife.
