College student An Li uses her summer vacation to investigate ancient tombs but is tricked by the human trafficker Gao Shiying and sold to middle-aged fisherman Fu Zhu. On the dilapidated fishing boat, An Li, with tears on her face, begs Fu Zhu's wife to let her go back. Although sympathetic, the woman pleads with her to stay, thinking of the 7,000 yuan she has earned with great effort.
