Zhou Peng (Zhang Zhanpeng) seeks revenge for his father and wants to submit evidence of corruption against the divine officer Zhuge Sen (Wang Longwei) to Bao Gong for investigation. As a result, he faces a series of assassination attempts, forcing him to seek refuge with his cousin Bao Tuo (Xiao Hou). The eldest lady of the Lin family (Li Lili) is enchanted by the male ghost Du Luo (Long Tianxiang) and is ultimately killed; her spirit requests Peng and Tuo to help her, leading them to Kaifeng to find Mr. Gongsun (Yang Zhiqing) for assistance to eliminate the ghost of Du.
