This music short film is adapted from an original story by Stephen King, directed by special effects master Stan Winston. At the beginning of the story, the overweight mayor (played by Michael Jackson) brings a group of parents and children to a haunted castle in town with the intention of driving out its eerie owner (also played by Michael Jackson). Faced with the mayor's aggressive tactics, the castle owner proposes that whoever frightens the other first must leave, leading the castle owner to guide a group of ghosts in an unusual and terrifying performance. The performance is linked by the three songs "Too Bad," "Is It Scary," and "Ghosts," culminating in the castle owner successfully scaring the mayor away and winning the affection of the townspeople. This is a music video shot by Michael Jackson in 1997, which holds the Guinness World Record for the longest music video. In this film, MJ plays multiple uncredited roles, including the overweight mayor after special effects makeup.
