The disillusioned and fallen middle-aged man, Akihiro Fujishima (played by Hiroshi Abe), once had a happy family. As a police officer, he was forced into early retirement after violently assaulting his ex-wife Kiriko's (played by Asuka Kurosawa) lover. At the lowest point of his life, unable to see a bright future, he receives a call from Kiriko, revealing that his daughter Kanako (played by Nana Komatsu) has been missing for days. Driven by complicated emotions, this rough and violent man embarks on a passionate investigation, visiting people close to Kanako, including her high school classmates Morishita (played by Ai Hashimoto) and Nagano (played by Aoi Morikawa), her homeroom teacher, Kei Higashi (played by Miki Nakatani), and her psychiatrist, Tsujimura (played by Jun Kunimura). From their accounts, he discovers that beneath his daughter's angelic appearance lies a devil that can lead everyone to downfall and misfortune. Fujishima runs at full speed while another group of dangerous individuals becomes involved… The film is adapted from Akio Fumimachi's mystery novel "Endless Desire."
