The annual Christmas season is approaching, and Mr. Scott Calvin (played by Tim Allen) is getting increasingly busy as Santa Claus. Just at this crucial moment, Principal Carol (played by Elizabeth Mitchell) approaches Scott and tells him that his son Charlie (played by Eric Lloyd) has become a problem student at school. Carol hopes that Scott can spend more time with and educate Charlie. During his interactions with Carol, Scott gradually falls in love with this independent and strong woman. According to the Santa Claus law, he must find his other half before this Christmas, and Carol's appearance comes at the right time.
