Richie (Mario Casas) has a strained relationship with his mother, as she abandoned him when he was twelve. Richie's mother, Plá (Ángela Molina), is a prostitute entangled with many local thugs, and her constant risky behavior ultimately leads to her imprisonment. 　 Years pass quickly, and Plá's prison sentence is coming to an end. To celebrate her release, Richie prepares a grand gift for Plá—a brothel named Hiroshima Club, so she no longer has to sell her body on the streets. However, Richie is taken aback when the worldly Plá shows indifference to this brothel.
