Ewan McGregor, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, and Val Kilmer will star in the new film [The Birthday Cake](The Birthday Cake, tentative title). The story follows Giovanni, played by Fiennes Tiffin, who reluctantly continues the family tradition of bringing a cake to his Uncle Angelo (played by Kilmer) on the 10th anniversary of his father's death. However, Giovanni's life changes that night when he witnesses a murder and uncovers the truth about what happened to his father. This film marks Jim Giannopoulos's directorial debut, adapted from his original story, and will begin filming this fall in New York.
