Master Long has had a dream since childhood: to become a kung fu superstar like Bruce Lee and to promote kung fu to the world. After growing up, he came to Wucheng and opened a martial arts school in a village in the city, but he couldn’t recruit a single student, and life became tough. To make a living, he and his friend Bobo went to work at a diamond factory, where they met the love-stricken little Qing. The despicable actions of the contractor and Master Long’s chivalry led to their romance, resulting in them losing their jobs. The hardships of life did not extinguish the dream in Master Long's heart. He and Bobo worked hard to earn money and finally bought a DV camera to start filming their kung fu short movies, preparing to move closer to their dreams. Unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned; before their dreams could beckon them, they had to start looking for jobs again due to financial struggles. So, Master Long resolutely decided to leave. As if it couldn't get worse, the dream-filled Master Long faced ridicule from Sister Xiao Qing, who bluntly called him a good-for-nothing who lives off others. Master Long decided to break up with Xiao Qing. After much reflection and with the encouragement of his friend Bobo, Master Long made his own choices between life, love, and dreams. Master Long's experiences and his obsession with his dreams inspired Brother Lei, as if Master Long were the younger version of himself. They decided to make a movie together to explore the true essence of kung fu. Kung fu isn't about fighting and killing, nor is it a contest of superiority; kung fu is an art, a spirit of perseverance...
