This work follows a high school girl, Karen Kazuno, who struggles with a memory loss condition characterized by fleeting fragments of childhood memories that often cause her to lose consciousness. While obtaining a family register copy for her passport application for a school trip to South Korea, Karen discovers that she had a sister named Yukari who passed away when she was four, and that she was taken in by her current parents from a family named "Matsumoto."
