On the eve of Japan's defeat in World War II, fervent militarists initially planned to use the gold hidden in the Bank of Japan as a fund for revival, but it was unexpectedly seized by Army Captain Masami Sasakura. From then on, this batch of gold retreated into the shadows of history under the name of M Funds, manipulating the political and economic landscape of Japan and even the world. Entering the 21st century, the fraudster Yuichi Manabe (played by Koichi Satoh) unexpectedly receives a commission from the mysterious figure "M" (played by Shingo Katori), who demands Manabe and his most trusted assistant Ishi (played by Mirai Moriyama) to swindle up to 10 trillion yen from an organization named the Japan International Cultural Promotion Association, which is said to originate from the legendary M Funds. It is said that back in the day, Masami Sasakura wished to use the M Funds for the rightful revival of the nation and the world, but to this day, the money has long been reduced to a tool for greedy individuals to make profit. Accompanied by enormous risks, Manabe and his partners set off. The journey around the world entails danger after danger... This film is adapted from Harutoshi Fukui's original work.
