Sean (Kerr Smith) is driving from Los Angeles to Florida to attend his sister's wedding. On the way, Sean encounters a hitchhiker named Nick (Brendan Fehr), and kind-hearted Sean offers him a ride, unaware that his nightmare begins the moment Nick gets in the car.
