Chen Wenjie (played by Xing Hui) is a wealthy young lady born with a silver spoon in her mouth, and she shares a close relationship with a poor boy named Liu Dingyi (played by Jin Feng). Chen Wenjie tries to help Liu Dingyi find a job through her connections, but driven by his pride, Liu Dingyi refuses, leading to conflict between them. One day, Chen Wenjie and her friend Shen Danni (played by He Lili) go out for an outing, where they encounter the playboy William (played by Qiao Zhuang). William is attracted to Shen Danni's beauty and pursues her excitedly. Before long, William loses interest and shifts his focus to Chen Wenjie. He sets up a heroic rescue scheme to win her trust.
