One summer day, a family gathers to celebrate their mother’s 70th birthday. The attendees include the birthday celebrant and her husband; their two sons, one of whom brings his wife and two kids, while the other brings his new girlfriend; and an eighteen-year-old girl who seems to have grown up here. A camera captures this momentous day for posterity. Everything seems peaceful and joyful until the sister who went missing three years ago suddenly reappears. Everyone welcomes her back like a prodigal son, unaware that a mountain of trouble accompanies her.
