As the saying goes, when one is in the rivers and lakes, one cannot act freely. The One-Armed Sword King, Fang Gang (played by Wang Yu), is weary of the violence and vendettas of the martial world. He retreats with his wife, Xiao Man (played by Jiao Jiao), to live a secluded life in the mountains, working the land. On a sunny day, the brothers Guan Shun and Guan Heng, masters of the black and white swords, arrive unannounced, delivering an invitation to Fang Gang to attend the Ten Thousand Swords Conference at the Ba Wang Stronghold on the fifth day of the fifth month for the Dragon Boat Festival.
