Jay (played by Jay Baruchel) travels a long way to Los Angeles, hoping to spend some quality time with his friend Seth (played by Seth Rogen). However, it isn’t long before Jay realizes that Seth is different; unlike Jay, who feels lonely, Seth has already made a whole new group of friends in Los Angeles. With some prompting, Jay follows Seth to a wild party at James's (played by James Franco) house. Jay strongly dislikes the crazy and arrogant James, but it's clear that James and Seth share a close bond. A catastrophic event plunges the world into chaos, while the partygoers in the mansion remain blissfully unaware. Is this disaster a natural calamity or a man-made tragedy? Will the six trapped individuals, including Jay, be able to survive?
