In a bustling corner of Taipei, there lives a woman named Ye Lankin (played by Bao Qijing) who is nearing retirement. Outside her family, she is an outstanding professional woman running a children's art class; at home, she is the epitome of a good woman—an ideal wife, mother, daughter-in-law, and daughter. Like a spinning top, she constantly tries to balance everything, hoping to fulfill all the responsibilities handed to her by those around her. Her recently retired husband, Luo Dawei (played by Kou Shihun), is gradually taking over spaces in their home with his antique collection; her elderly mother, Sun Qinfang (played by Yu Ji'an), lives alone in a nursing home, her memory and awareness gradually fading, always reminding her daughter to bring her home; her younger daughter, Luo Jianing (played by Ke Jiayan), suddenly returns home as both her marriage and job are in jeopardy, turning their home into a temporary storage for her abandoned belongings; her son, Luo Jiayu, who is abroad, is indecisive about moving the family back to Taiwan for work. Although he symbolizes the honor of the Luo family, he remains absent. Each family member has their own needs: the space in the home is continually occupied, and as she loses the space she desires, she feels like a neglectful mother, daughter, and wife. Therefore, she begins to fantasize about settling her family by buying a house. One day, Lankin sets her sights on an expensive new property, and her best friend Axiang (played by Lu Yijing) and student Guanting (played by Li Chun) suggest a short-term, high-yield investment that could solve all her problems at once? Unwittingly deviating from a rational path, Lankin seems to begin to blur the lines between dreams and reality due to the pressure she faces. Can she find a breathing space between dreams and imagination?
