Yun Feiyang (played by Xu Shaoqiang) appears to be just a small servant, but his true identity is the illegitimate son of Wudang's master, Qingsong (played by Wang Rong). In private, Qingsong has taught Yun Feiyang many martial arts skills. Qingsong has an arch-enemy, Dugu Wudi (played by Wan Ziliang), and the two have fought for years without coming to a conclusion. Qingsong recently took on a new disciple named Fu Yushu (played by Liu Yong), but it turns out that Yushu is actually the grandson of Qingsong's enemy, the master of the Xiaoyao Valley. His only purpose for coming is to secretly learn skills and take revenge for his family. Yushu kills Qingsong to take his position and frames Yun Feiyang for the crime, causing Yun Feiyang to become a wanted criminal in the martial arts world, forcing him to flee. Along the way, Yun Feiyang, badly injured, is rescued by a woman who turns out to be his half-sister. After hitting rock bottom, Yun Feiyang decides to focus on cultivating the hard-earned Tian Can Gong in hopes of avenging his biological father.
