In a small village in Lebanon, a boy named Rabi, who is completely blind, possesses a deep musical talent. While applying for a new passport to perform abroad, he discovers that his identification is forged! Panic and anger sweep over him as he realizes he has been living in a lie, and no one can explain the truth no matter how much he inquires. Amid the melodious tones of Middle Eastern folk music, the boy expresses his calm yet genuine sadness and melancholia through song. The director uses the metaphor of a blind person to reflect the dark history of Lebanon, torn and destroyed by war.
