The film tells a unique story of affection between Tilda (played by Emma Schweiger) and her grandfather Amadeus (played by Dieter Hallervorden). Amadeus suffers from Alzheimer's disease. Only 10-year-old Tilda can communicate with him, and she innocently treats this elderly man who has lost his capacity for life as a child and accepts him.
