Marcello (Claudio Bisio) is a psychiatrist who faces a multitude of patients with various psychological disorders every day. As a doctor, Marcello patiently guides them, steadfastly helping them step by step out of the emotional abyss. However, in his personal life, Marcello himself suffers from depression and often falls into a gloomy state. Who can he turn to for help? In an accident, Marcello is diagnosed with an eye condition that threatens his vision, a shocking blow that exacerbates his depression.
