The story takes place in a distant ancient time, where a shepherd named Serado (played by Andy Gillet) falls in love with a shepherdess named Asterre (played by Stéphanie Crayencour). Their love is passionate and sincere, and they see each other as their one and only for this life. Unfortunately, due to believing in rumors, Asterre mistakenly thinks that Serado has another love. Heartbroken, Asterre vows never to see Serado again.
Serado, having lost Asterre, is devastated and only wishes to end his life. Unexpectedly, while attempting to drown himself, he is saved by a fairy. Failing to die, Serado feels his love for Asterre rekindle, but the vow of never seeing each other again has already been made. Faced with this ironclad constraint, will Serado be able to see Asterre again? And what hardships and obstacles await him on the road?
