The US military discovered a strange circular ring somewhere on Earth, the manufacturing technology of which is completely different from that of Earth. Furthermore, analyses of the ring's history indicate it is ancient, even predating the emergence of humanity. The ring is engraved with many strange symbols. What is the purpose of this ring? Archaeologist Dr. Daniel Jackson (played by James Spader) has in-depth research on Egyptian hieroglyphs and their history, as well as his own theories about the construction of the pyramids, but his views are not accepted. In search of compelling evidence, he begins to study the ring discovered by the military, only to find that it is a high-tech product that can connect with another ring through specific coding, forming a wormhole that allows for long-distance space travel in a very short time. To discover what lies at the other end of the ring, Daniel and Colonel Jack O'Neill (played by Kurt Russell) lead a military team through the Stargate into another world for an adventure. On the other side, they uncover many unbelievable things, with new interpretations of the mysteries surrounding the construction of the pyramids and whether aliens have visited Earth...
