Bridget (Rebekah Brandes) works at a midnight cinema, where they are set to screen an old 70s film, "The Dark Beneath." Multiple death tragedies have surrounded this film, which has thus been revered as a cult horror classic. Bridget's boyfriend Josh (Daniel Bonjour), her friends Mario (Greg Cirulnick), Samantha (Mandell Maughan), and Sully (Michael Schwartz) are all there to watch it, along with Detective Belons (Jon Briddell), who believes that one of the film's creators, Radford, who recently mysteriously disappeared from a mental institution, will show up here. The eerie plot of the film makes Bridget feel uneasy, but a wave of killings that blurs the lines between reality and film is slowly coming for them...The film won Best Cinematography and Best Film at the 2008 Chicago Horror Film Festival.
