Tae-sik (played by Jin-hee) is an aimless young man who rides his motorcycle every day, distributing flyers and stuffing them into keyholes. If the flyers are not taken down after a few days, Tae-sik will pry open the lock and stay for a while, showering, cooking, and taking photos. In exchange, he helps the homeowners with some chores and tidies up their spaces. One day, he encounters a woman named Sun-hwa (played by Lee Jeong-un) in an empty house, who has been abused by her husband. She is bruised all over, her eyes revealing deep sorrow. After escaping, Tae-sik can’t stop thinking about Sun-hwa, and when he returns to her house, he coincidentally finds her husband abusing her. He immediately intervenes and takes her away. Later, the two resume their mysterious lives, searching for empty rooms together. Although they don’t communicate verbally, they share a deep understanding. One time, when they enter a stranger's room, they discover an old man's corpse. After giving him a proper funeral, they happily stay in that room. Until one day, the old man's son comes looking for them, and they are taken away as murder suspects. Tae-sik is imprisoned, and Sun-hwa is taken away by her husband. But the story does not end here.
