What would you do if you have to meet your partner's parents during the New Year but can't resolve your issues with your own mother? As the Spring Festival approaches, Chief Advertising Creative Director Li Chaoyang (played by Wang Guanyi) and Planning Director Liu Zihong (played by Liu Yase) prepare to shoot an advertisement. However, at the client's request, it is changed to a live broadcast of their family's New Year's Eve reunion dinner. Although the two are at the stage of discussing marriage, they have never met each other's parents, and Chaoyang does not communicate with his mother Li Yanling (played by Xiang Yun), which poses a challenge for him. In a moment of inspiration, he hires a group of actors to play his relatives, leading to a story filled with laughter and emotion: future father-in-law Liu Lanting (played by Guo Liang) arrives early, actor uncle Wei Ge (played by Li Guohuang), actor mother Zhang Aijia (played by Zhu Mimi), and actor cousin AK (played by Didas) lack rehearsal, resulting in endless comedic moments; mother, unable to confront her son, reluctantly becomes the "nanny" to send him well wishes. This journey is full of laughter and tears, and the misunderstandings built over the years may be resolved through a reunion dinner…
