Led by King Terak and the witch Charal, a marauding army attacks the village of the Ewoks. Cindel's parents and brother are all killed in the raid. Cindel escapes with an Ewok named Wicket. In a forest, they encounter a mischievous and agile creature named Teek. Teek leads them to an old man named Noa, who shares a similar experience with Cindel—his starship also crashed on Endor. Together, they unite to fight against Terak and Charal.
