Single mother Milia moves into a supposedly haunted apartment with her newborn daughter, and at midnight, the "big ghost" along with the "little ghost" truly comes to disturb the new tenant. This is the latest work by Italian director Alessandro Capitani, showcased in the Venice Days section of the 2021 Venice Film Festival. The film tells stories of characters that are not glamorous in a warm and bright manner: a single immigrant mother enduring domestic violence who struggles to remain strong with nowhere to complain, an unemployed father who is homeless and maintains a beautiful world in his son's eyes with various kind lies, and the help of a neighbor who is looked down upon by his children. All of these are defined by the director as "new realistic fantasies," aiming to express a hopeful attitude towards life despite hardships.
