During a trip to Barcelona, a girl named Lily (played by Mélanie Laurent) meets a woman named Lia (played by Aïssa Maïga). After returning home, Lily is heartbroken by the news that her brother Roy (played by Simon Buret) has run away. Her parents are clearly reluctant to discuss Roy's departure, and deeply connected to her brother, Lily is left to search for him on her own. However, finding someone in this world is like looking for a needle in a haystack, and during the search, Lily’s mental state deteriorates rapidly, ultimately landing her in the hospital. Roy's letters gradually save Lily’s life; with her brother's letters, she starts to recover, and finding Roy becomes the only meaningful thing in Lily’s life. During this time, Lia's boyfriend Thomas (played by Julien Boisselier) comes to Lily's side, and his presence is like a warm spring breeze, comforting Lily's weary soul. Looking at the world, not just Lily, everyone is facing their own abyss.
