The Duval family lives in the suburbs of a city in France. Robert (played by Jacques Gamblin), a taxi driver, and his wife, Marie-Jeanne (played by Zabou Breitman), raise their three children together. The eldest son, Albert (played by Pio Marmaï), left home at a young age to fend for himself; the second son, Raphael (played by Marc-André Grondin), is a carefree young man who seems indifferent to everything; and the youngest daughter, Flora (played by Déborah François), has transformed from a good girl into a rebellious teenager, often causing distress to her mother with her defiance. Albert's departure deeply saddens Marie, leading her to pursue education and strive for her dreams. As time passes, each family member harbors their own concerns, yet something seems to distance their relationships... This film won the Best Editing, Best New Male Actor (Marc-André Grondin), and Best New Female Actor (Déborah François) awards at the 2009 César Awards in France.
