Born into a military family, Alexandra Everett was destined to become a soldier. She enlisted with outstanding results and was promoted to positions such as a drill instructor and a security officer. To conceal her true homosexuality, she resorted to a sham marriage. Just as she was about to honorably complete her service, she became embroiled in a military investigation due to ambiguous photos with a female soldier being submitted to her superiors. Although her commanding officer tried to help her, he was forced to let her leave the military early due to the strict regulations against homosexuality. Returning to her hometown, she found it had transformed into a town rampant with drug dealers, and her old friends initially felt a bit out of place. With the help of a police officer, her grandmother entrusted her rebellious granddaughter Saffron to Alexandra, hoping she could help Saffron reform, get over the shadow of a traffic accident, and enlist rapidly to avoid being imprisoned by the police. While helping Saffron meet the enlistment requirements, Alexandra frequently interacted with her previous girlfriend, and Saffron's drug dealer boyfriend sought revenge, posting the photos taken around town. This forced Alex to want to leave the town, but since Saffron was also embroiled in the scandal and was denied enlistment, Saffron felt dejected and fell back into the arms of her drug dealer boyfriend. Alex rushed into the drug den in an attempt to rescue Saffron but was knocked out and tied up. Saffron tried to help Alex, but during a struggle, the drug dealer boyfriend accidentally shot Saffron in the abdomen... She was rushed to the hospital and was saved. On television, Obama finally announced a bill allowing homosexuals to serve in the military, Saffron officially enlisted, while Alexandra transitioned to become the town's policewoman. ======================================================== Based on a true story, it won three awards at the 2010 Outfest Film Festival: Best Feature Audience Award, Jury Award, Best Actress.
