This film revolves around five boys who initially know nothing about ski jumping, telling a youthful and inspirational story of their hard work training to compete for the Olympic host city and witnessing each other's growth. In 1996, to host the Winter Olympics, Jeollabuk-do in South Korea was in a rush to prepare. However, the International Olympic Committee notified them that if there was no team participating in ski jumping, they would lose their hosting qualification. The organizing committee was thrown into chaos, deciding to immediately form a national ski jumping team. In a panic, they temporarily assembled five “national representatives” who knew nothing about ski jumping: Bob (played by Ha Jung-woo), who was adopted by Americans and returned to find his birth mother; impulsive club server Hong-cheol (played by Kim Dong-wook); the timid boy Na-beom (played by Choi Jae-hwan), who always listens to his father; as well as Ji-kyu (played by Kim Gi-seok) who wants to avoid military service, and his brother Pong-kyu (played by Lee Jae-in). Under the guidance of the unqualified former children’s skiing coach Bang Jong-sam (played by Sung Dong-il), these five boys with distinct personalities begin a tough training regimen.
