John (Brad Pitt) and Jane (Angelina Jolie) have been married for over seven years, and their life is as bland as plain water. Their marriage feels like a tomb, leading them to live a stagnant existence. However, this is merely the surface. Behind the scenes, they each have thrilling and dangerous occupations—John and Jane belong to two different secret assassin organizations, but are unaware of each other's professional identities. It isn't until they receive the same assignment, to assassinate the same target, that the truth about their identities begins to unfold. After repeated tests and guesses, Jane accidentally reveals her identity. As a result, an inevitable confrontation occurs. But they also begin to realize that they are merely pawns in the game of their organizations. And in front of them is the partner they have lived with for seven years.
