This documentary is the eighth installment in director Michael Apted's documentary series that began in 1964. Michael Apted filmed the documentary "7 Up" for the BBC in 1964, interviewing fourteen seven-year-old children from different social classes in the UK, some from orphanages and others from upper-class backgrounds. Every seven years thereafter, Apted would revisit these children, listening to their dreams and discussing their lives. As life reaches its midpoint, time passes. Is it regret and reflection, or nostalgia for youthful brilliance? Time will inevitably bring aging, but life goes on. The director Michael Apted, who has accompanied these children for half a century, has also aged, but "The Up Series" will continue.
