Heather (Sharni Vinson) is a robber who sets his criminal sights on the daughter of a diamond merchant, Catherine (Carlyn Burchell). Heather leads a group of thugs into Catherine's home, kidnaps her, but overlooks the eerie atmosphere in the house and the mysterious markings left in the closet. Heather locks Catherine in the basement, closely monitoring her; however, strangely, no one answers his calls for ransom to Catherine's parents.
