Lawyer Billy (played by Robert John Burke) is a large and overweight man who has been trying to lose weight but has never succeeded. As a morally corrupt lawyer, he has achieved considerable success through collusion with prosecutors and judges. In a traffic accident, Billy kills a gypsy woman. In court, using his position, Billy obtains a not-guilty verdict through illegal means, ignoring the anger and grief of the victim's family. From that point on, good luck seems to come to Billy; the weight that has troubled him for so long begins to decrease, and he can indulge in delicious food without concern. However, the situation spirals out of control; within just a few days, Billy becomes a gaunt old man, and his weight continues to drop. Meanwhile, his colleagues who participated in the unfair trial begin to develop various ailments, making him realize that the gypsy's curse is not unfounded. To survive, he must find the gypsy who cast the curse and seek his forgiveness.
