In the sleepless city of New York, filled with fantastical sights and nightly revelry, people are lost in a dream world of fine wine and beautiful women, long forgetting the lurking threat hidden in the darkness. One night, a prostitute is brutally murdered, and Officer Fred Williams (played by Jack Hedley) is assigned to investigate the case.
