The film tells the story of a boy named Nico (played by David Solans), who possesses extraordinary intelligence and shows a deep interest in one thing—chess. Nico's parents, Carlos (played by José Coronado) and Coral (played by María Molins), are worried about his unusual behavior, especially Carlos, who decides to hire a child psychologist, Julio (played by Julio Manrique), to help understand and address Nico's issues.
