After the world of Faith is turned upside down, she discovers that her beloved father has died. When a mysterious and alluring young man, who has a feminine demeanor, becomes her hockey coach, she finds a compassionate spiritual belief and a much-needed mother figure. She does not know that Sisi belongs to an ancient family of witches, and through the fruit of an ancient cherry tree, she performs a secret ritual to restore life to the dead and dying. In exchange for healing her father, Sisi strikes a bargain with Faith and suddenly finds herself pregnant, with astonishingly rapid growth. But as the child’s birth approaches, the ticking clock and the increasingly apparent true intentions of the feminine-acting man put Faith and her father in a position where they must stand together to save their lives.
