A group of college students from Madison City, USA, travels to a remote town to interview a writer who authored a book about a serial killer in the town twenty years ago. When the students arrive in Madison's town, they search everywhere but cannot find the writer. When they ask the townspeople, they say they haven't seen the writer in years and deny that the serial killer Damon from the novel ever existed, claiming that the murders never occurred. Originally intended for an interview, the students start to uncover the truth.
